Mackenzie received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance and Pre-Health Professions certificate from the University of Texas at Austin in 2018. She completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Texas Woman’s University T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences – Dallas Center in 2021.
Mackenzie recently earned her Clinical Certification in Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Therapy (COMT) with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) in 2023 after completing 154 hours of advanced education and examinations. She is currently pursuing continuing education with the Dance Medicine Education Initiative (DMEI). She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA).
Mackenzie’s clinical interests include manual therapy, dance injury rehabilitation, and general orthopedics. She lives in Dallas with her husband, Reid, and labrador, Georgia. She enjoys Pilates, baking, and spending time at the lake in her free time.
